Data-driven merchandise innovation has the potential to solve real-world problems as technology advances, but incessant barriers such as limited availability to capital and digital infrastructure can severely limit high-tech innovators’ capacity for creating innovative products that could serve the needs of emerging market economies. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the usage of online medical solutions and other online technologies increased as the medical community sought digital substitutes for high-risk people interactions.

The use of augmented reality platforms in medicine is one example of this. Surgeons can share knowledge and experiment with more interventions than their in-person training would have allowed. During a five-hour procedure to remove kidney stones, three doctors from three continents collaborated as if they were in the same room, viewing a live stream of the patient’s kidney. Persistent hurdles, such as restricted access to money, software engineers, and digital infrastructure, significantly hinder high-tech innovators’ ability to produce new products that can meet the needs of rising market economies. The digital divide has expanded beyond its traditional definition to include product creation. The majority of product innovation over the next decade will necessitate significantly quicker and more dependable internet service, as well as significant access to financing and product development teams. The timing is critical: the digital divide is widening. Many industries are experiencing major disruption as a result of rapid improvements in communication technology. Several new products and technologies, such as ride-sharing, connected homes, and smart energy grids, derive their value from the capacity to compute while connected. Nevertheless, building gadgets that can compute while connected necessitates massive amounts of data transfer. In high-income countries, the cost of data transfer has dropped dramatically in recent years. Unfortunately, this cannot be stated for many emerging markets.The cost of international connectivity remains prohibitively expensive in many emerging market capitals. To remain competitive in a hyperconnected environment, communication infrastructure must be constantly updated.

Nations who are unable to keep up with the rapid expansion of global communication infrastructure will see their businesses suffer greatly. Developing countries should aim to make suitable investment, greater integration, and mass deployment of connectivity solutions across industries more widely available, thereby addressing ongoing development issues in emerging markets worldwide. Affordably priced Internet of Things can aid in the optimization of waste management and electricity distribution networks. Tracking farm performance, remote inspections of fish farms, and computerized crop disease detection can all help to boost agricultural productivity.

This module is just an example on big the infrastructure can be reimagined in terms of future developement of a country. A thoughtwhich I stress all the time is an Idea of Infrastructure should never be stressed on just physically measurable structures relating to civil or architecture , but there is whole lot to be discovered by human brains in the current world.
